Private – one on one

Want 1 on 1 time? We can make that happen with a lesson customized specifically to You. Wether you are new to the sport or an old hat, our knowledgeable and professional Snow School instructors will assess and guide you to gaining confidence, honing your technique, and broadening the terrain accessible to you. Book your lesson for an hour or multiple hours, the choice is yours, simply give us a call and we’ll get you set up with an instructor to guide your way.

Semi Private – 2 person

Time for two? Sometimes you want a special day for you and your pal. Book a semi- private lesson. Our instructor will cater the lesson completely to your learning desires wether you are a beginner or advanced. Our Professional Snow School instructors will assess, customize and address your learning desires. The lesson will be taught to the lesser ability level, allowing for you both to enjoy the mountain together. You may book one of our instructors for one or multiple hours if you wish.

Custom Group – 3-5 persons

Interested in learning with a group of friends or family? Gather up to 5 people of like ability* and technique and head out with one of our professional Snow School instructors. Our maximum student to teacher ratio is 5:1, thus keeping the group intimate and allowing for best learning environment.

Uphill Ski – one on one

Interested in honing your Uphill technique? This private session is geared towards answering all of your questions, from learning how to dress, to better climbing technique, to taking care of your equipment – especially your climbing skins. This lesson is taught on your own alpine touring equipment.  You can either reserve a 1or 2 hour lesson. Then put your newfound skills to work by exploring all of our uphill routes at the Bowl.

First Timers!  This 1.5 hour private ski or snowboard lesson for adults and children (starting at age 5 for skiing and age 6 snowboarding) includes rental equipment and expert instruction to get you on the snow for the first time. We truly want the opportunity to introduce you to skiing or snowboarding our slopes. Designed for kids or adults.

Lots of Lessons

“Lots of Lessons for Less”— a lesson bundle designed just for you! Pre-buy four lessons and receive a fifth lesson free! This is a terrific value, and we know you’ll love our well-qualified instructors. Each lesson bundle is designed to be used by one person, is ideal for both kids and adults. You may book up to two hour lessons with one instructor at a time for a given date.

Kid December Holiday Program

December 26 – 30, 2023

A weeklong series of one hour ski / snowboard lessons geared towards:

FIRST TIMER GROUP SERIES 9AM – 10AM

YOUTH GROUP SERIES 1PM – 2PM

• Lessons include lots of mileage with others of similar age and ability.
• Students deemed eligible (in terms of ability) may use lifts with their name tags an hour before and after their lessons.     
• Release Forms must be completed for all Snow School group lessons.  Save time  download, print, bring with you on registration day.

Equipment

• Rented on a first-come, first serve basis.

• Half-day program rental rentals rates:
• $15 for ages 10 and younger.
• $20 for 11-13 year-old.
• $25 for 14 & older.

Kid January – Saturday Program

January – Saturday 6, 13, 20, 27 – 2024

A month-long series of one hour ski / snowboard lessons geared towards:

Mountain Explorers – for skiers

This program has sold out. You are welcome to add your name to the wait-list. There is no guarantee that we will have space, but should a space become available we will reach out to you on a first come first serve basis.

The perfect way for your young skier, aged 6 -12, to advance their skills in a supportive learning environment with a non-racing orientation.

Must be able to ride the lift independently for participation.

Release Forms must be completed for all Snow School group lessons, this will be done at time of check in for your first lesson.

Program Details:

• Saturdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm (breaks will be supervised, bring a small snack)
• Program dates for 2024
  • Jan: 6,13,20,27;
  • Feb: 10, 17;
  • Mar: 2, 9, 16th is a make-up date for any potential cancellations by the Snowbowl.
• We will not be meeting on Feb 3rd & Feb 24th

• Lease equipment is available for an additional fee

December, January & February Programs

Skiers (ages 5-16) and Snowboarders (ages 6-16)

We offer two ability groups for each sport. Attention is given to keep students in their age appropriate peer groups when possible.

Adult Wednesday

Choose between the 5 or 10 – two-hour series, each with one flex day. Techniques offered are skiing, snowboarding, and telemark.

• 5 days – Date: Jan 3 – Feb 7th – 2024
• 10 days- Date: Jan 4 – March 13 – 2024
• NO Wed Adult on February, 21st and 28th – 2024
• Time: 10AM – 12PM

Designed for individuals comfortable riding the lift and skiing / snowboarding green trails and beyond.

Includes a half-day morning lift ticket.

An incredible value and a great way to experience the season-long changing conditions and terrain guided by one of our professional instructors.

Middlebury College – J-Term Lessons

A program designed for actively enrolled Middlebury College Students – Come head for the mountains and enjoy the Great Outdoors while earning a PE credit.

Program runs from: January 6th – February 5th, 2023.
