Night Skiing Grand Opening Friday Night!

Good morning skiers and riders! After 6-8″ of snow Sunday, the skiing was fantastic yesterday here at the Bowl. Mostly sunny skies today will continue gifting us with another beautiful day on the slopes, with a high near 24. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon with wind chill values as low as zero, so bundle up, break out the sunglasses, and come to get a few runs in to get those legs ready for night skiing starting tomorrow night!

Today, we’ll have machine groomed and packed powder surfaces with 6 lift serviced trails open including the new discovery trail off the magic carpet Discovery Zone learning area, and the new Sheehan Quad will have 4 trails that are skiing fantastic right now. Uphill skiers can continue to access additional terrain on natural surfaces, but please be aware that natural hazards exist and please ski with a partner. Our snowmaking crew began making snow on lower Allen last night with our sites moving to get the Worth Mountain Chair open!

And don’t forget, mark your calendars now to join us this Friday, December 15th, for our night skiing grand opening celebration with fireworks and apres-ski featuring live music from local sensations the Neon Ramblers, all kicking off at 4pm sharp with opening musician Lowell Thompson!
