Good morning race fans! The next best thing to the World Cup Tour is the EISA Championships at the Bowl as the Panther Alpine Ski Team hosts the Middlebury Carnival Friday and Saturday this weekend! But don’t be fooled by a little warm spell, because it looks like the weekend is going to remind us we haven’t escaped the New England winter. Today, mostly cloudy with a high near 39 and southwest wind 5 to 7 mph. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. We will be open to the public with skiing on Worth Mtn. until 4pm (please see our mobile app for trail updates and closures for the race) while Sheehan and the Disco Carpet will be operating into the evening, and the skiing couldn’t be better on variable packed powder conditions on 19 trails!
Make note, we are open to the public during the Middlebury Carnival however lodge space and parking will be extremely limited. Shuttles will be running from the Breadloaf overflow lot Saturday only.
Don’t forget, if you haven’t already, to download the Ski Middlebury App in the Apple or Google store to stay connected with us and for the most current updates! https://ski-middlebury.get.alpinemedia.com/appinstall
Uphill routes will be open on both Worth Mtn. and Sheehan.
See ya on the slopes!
