About the Artist: Patrick Fitzsimmons
Immerse yourself in the soulful music of Patrick Fitzsimmons, a renowned singer-songwriter whose passion for music was ignited by the iconic tunes of the ’70s. Influenced by legends like Cat Stevens, Paul Simon, and Neil Young, Patrick embarked on a musical journey that began with the drums and eventually led him to master the guitar.

A finalist in the Just Plain Folks national songwriting competition and a multiple finalist in both the Solarfest and Ploughshares national songwriting contests, Fitzsimmons’s talent is undeniable. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his eighth album, set to release in early Spring 2024. His discography, including the acclaimed “Bird Tree,” has been featured on several Vermont radio stations such as The Point, WDEV, and VPR’s All the Traditions.

Patrick’s solo career has seen him share stages with acoustic music luminaries like Shawn Colvin, Dar Williams, Roger McGuinn, Ellis Paul, and Vance Gilbert. Additionally, as a pivotal member of the 90s band From Good Homes, signed to RCA records, he has opened for and toured with a plethora of music greats including Bob Dylan, Dave Mathews Band, Hootie and the Blowfish, Joan Osborne, Wide Spread Panic, David Crosby, and Bob Weir.
