Join us as our Friday Après-Ski Series continues. Friday March 1 get ready for an extraordinary musical journey with Bob “Cooper” Recupero at the Middlebury Snowbowl! As a special addition to our Après-Ski series, Bob will serenade the slopes with his guitar and soulful vocals from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Dive into the rich tapestry of American music with Bob’s eclectic performance. From the heartfelt strains of cowboy songs and gunfighter ballads that first ignited his musical passion, to a broad spectrum of genres including Rock & Roll, singer-songwriter classics, and jazz tunes, Bob’s setlist promises an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the legendary sounds of Hank Williams, CSN, Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, the Beatles, John Prine, Steve Earle, the Rolling Stones, Little Feat, Willie Dixon, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and more. Bob also delights audiences with his original compositions, adding a personal touch to his wide-ranging repertoire.
Bob’s musical journey is storied and diverse. He earned his stripes as a founding member of the band DOWNPOUR, touring professionally from the early ’70s into the mid-’80s. He’s also known for his collaboration with Mark Lavoie in the duo Cooper & Lavoie, celebrated as ‘Local Legends,’ and his performances with Michael Corn as Cooper & Corn. Bob’s experiences contribute to his unique sound and magnetic performances, making any event with him a must-see.
