Middlebury College Ski Down Graduation Processional

On Saturday February 1, 2025 we are honored to host Middlebury College’s traditional Ski Down Graduation Processional. While this won’t be the largest ski-down we’ve ever held, it’s still shaping up to be a significant event, drawing graduates, families, and spectators to the Snowbowl. We want to ensure you’re well-prepared so you can make the most of your day on the mountain.

Event Timeline and Operational Adjustments

• Anticipated Attendance: We expect approximately a large number of attendees, including graduates and spectators.
• Event Schedule: Graduates and guests will begin arriving around 11 AM, with the Ski Down Processional taking place between noon and 12:30 PM.
• Sheehan Lift Closure: To accommodate the event, the Sheehan Lift will be closed to the general public from 11:45 AM to 1 PM.
• Worth Mountain Chair: This lift will remain open for public use and is a great alternative during the event.
• TVT Shuttle Service: To ease parking congestion, we encourage you to park in town and use the TVT shuttle bus to reach the Snowbowl.

Tips for a Smooth and Enjoyable Experience

• Plan Ahead: Arrive early to enjoy the quieter morning slopes or consider a later visit after the event crowd begins to clear.
• Carpool or Drop Off: Help reduce traffic by carpooling or arranging for a drop-off.
• Worth Mountain Chair: Focus your day around this lift for uninterrupted skiing during the event.
